Even though an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, Kind Heaven promises to be one of the city’s best travel experiences to arrive this year. Created by film producer Cary Granat, special effect artist Ed Jones, and Lollapalooza co-founder Perry Farrel, the final product will be a can’t-miss sensory attraction.
Themed around the flavors, colors, sounds, smells and views of Southeast Asia, Kind Heaven will span 2 floors at The LINQ starting in the fall of 2019. More than 320,000 square feet will feature three distinct areas. The Sanctuary will channel the spiritual inspiration of Bhutan. The Forest which will transport guests to the forests and temples of Thailand, while The Dispensary will offer unique cocktails with combinations of herbs and distilled spirits. There will also be a venue to host intimate concerts.
Guests will load money onto electronic wristbands that they’ll use to buy street food, services, and drinks inspired by Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.
Kind Heaven will welcome the whole family during the day, and will limit entrance to adults at night.
Located near the famous Las Vegas Strip, this huge immersive entertainment complex will be packed with multiple restaurants, bars, nightclubs, music stages, entertainment options, art installations, and shops.
The immersive art-inspired retail center will be anchored by Meow Wolf, a collective of artists who use diverse media and platforms to create interactive experiences, such as George RR Martin’s (creator of Game of Thrones) House of Eternal Return.
The entire family will be welcome at the themed enviroment that will fill more than 400,000 square feet.
More than 1 million visitors are projected in the first year. The exact opening date has not been set, but is expected to be late in 2019.
Criss Angel’s Mindfreak
Modern Las Vegas would be unrecognizable without magic and illusion. Already one of Las Vegas’ resident illusionists, Criss Angel debuted a new production of his show Mindfreak in January 2019, in the Criss Angel Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
This updated take of Mindfreak offers a renewed experience blending cutting-edge technology like 3D digital mapping, high-resolution screens, and a state-of-the-art sound system. Attendees are completely immersed from the moment they enter the lobby until the show ends.
Mindfreak will feature 75 new illusions, more than 20 effects, videos, pyrotechnics, and lightshows, as Angel strives to upgrade to the world of illusionism in Las Vegas at this new unprecedented show.
